On the Horizon
With more news on The Guardians just around the corner, we felt it only right to whet your appetite with a little teaser of what's to come. We're keen to see what the eagle-eyed among you pick out!

This week our very own Sandy Sammarco and Zac Antonaci jumped on to the livestream to talk about all things Elite Dangerous Beta related.

GalNet Focus
Welcome to our weekly roundup of news stories and events in the Elite: Dangerous galaxy.
It has been four weeks since the Latugara PLC announced plans to establish a series of outposts between the burgeoning Colonia Nebula community and the core of human-inhabited space. Since then, the galactic community has delivered huge quantities of materials to Love Orbital for use in the construction. A spokesperson for the Latugara PLC said those who contributed to the campaign, “have done a great deal to support the Colonia initiative, and to facilitate travel to and from the nascent community”. Construction of the new outposts is expected to begin within the next few weeks.
The Alliance has announced plans to construct a new outpost on California Sector BA-A E6 4. According to an Alliance spokesperson, the station will serve as “a centre for scientific study, supporting our ongoing research into the organic structures and meta-alloys”. 160 SOAR, which is coordinating the appeal, has placed an open order for various commodities in support of this initiative.
Each year, the Annual Galactic Games Organisation holds an elaborate gaming tournament known as the Gathering, enticing the rich and famous to a chosen system for a week-long party. This year’s event will take place at the Norman – Mavis’s Bingo Palace starport in the Aramzahd system, chosen for its proximity to the lush planet of Guardinia. In anticipation of the event, the Aramzahd Empire Party has placed an open order for various rare foods and alcohol, and placed a kill order on all wanted ships operating in Aramzahd to ensure the safety of those attending.
Authorities in Slink's Eye have announced that the operation to clear the system of pirates has received the enthusiastic support of the galactic community. Hundreds of pilots contributed to the operation, taking to their ships to eliminate the agitators operating in the system, and providing local security forces with deliveries of reactive armour.

Alliance Outpost in the California Nebula
Tshang City, Furuhjelm III-674 – Help the Alliance build a research facility in the California Nebula by delivering Geological Equipment, Hazardous Environment Suits and Pesticides to Tshang City in the Furuhjelm III-674 system.
The Gathering 3302 – Rare Goods Run
Norman - Mavis's Bingo Palace, Aramzahd – Supply the Annual Galactic Games Tournament with rare alcohol and foods by delivering Centauri Mega Gin, Giant Irukama Snails, Lavian Brandy, Tanmark Tranquil Tea or Witchhaul Kobe Beef to Norman - Mavis's Bingo Palace in the Aramzahd system.
The Gathering 3302 – Security Support
Norman - Mavis's Bingo Palace, Aramzahd – Help the security forces maintain order in Aramzahd and surrounding systems by handing in Bounty Vouchers at Norman - Mavis's Bingo Palace in the Aramzahd system.
The Colonia Connection
Latugara PLC, an independent organisation based in the Latugara system, has announced plans to construct a series of outposts between the core of human-inhabited space and the rapidly expanding Colonia Nebula community.
In a statement, the organisation’s spokesperson said:
“Given the relatively remote nature of the Colonia community, there’s a clear need for a series of resupply outposts to support ships travelling to and from the colony. These new bases will bridge the gap between the burgeoning Colonia community and the core systems.”
In support of this ambitious initiative, the Latugara PLC has placed an open order for Titanium, Computer Components and Power Generators, and has promised to reward pilots who deliver these commodities to its base of operations at Love Orbital in the Latugara system.
The campaign has been scheduled to run for one more week, but Latugara PLC has said it will run the campaign until its targets are met.
Slink's Eye Piracy Epidemic
Security forces in the Slink's Eye system have reported a dramatic upswing in pirate activity. Reports indicate that the agitators are attacking civilians, disrupting trade and generally causing discord.
In response to this development, the Revolutionary Slink's Eye Liberals have placed a kill order on all wanted ships operating in the Slink's Eye system, and have promised to reward pilots who deliver bounty vouchers to Kelleam Ring. The organisation has also vowed to reimburse those who deliver reactive armour to Kelleam Ring to bolster local security forces.
The campaign begins on the 6th of October and will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.
